Trick or Treat is the Global Halloween event. Start with Attendance and Season Mission → Event in the game menu, then take your Halloween Pumpkin Coins to your faction’s town merchant.

Maintenance is a boundary, not a promise that the event lasts through the final calendar day. The clocks change for daylight saving during this window. Dates, costs and limits below come from NC’s official Trick or Treat announcement, checked October 25, 2026; we have not tested claims in a live game client.
Collect coins before choosing a reward
Attendance rewards can be claimed once per server. The 14-step attendance track pays 35 coins on each step except steps 7 and 14, which pay 100 each: 620 coins for the complete track. Check your own unlocked steps; this total is not a claim that a late joiner can finish every step before maintenance. The announcement lists the daily reset as midnight PDT / 09:00 CEST; verify the game’s displayed timer after the clock change.

Each listed mission resets once per week per server. Completing all ten gives 235 coins; different characters do not create a second copy of a server-limited reward.
Find your merchant
Elyos merchants are at Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village, Verteron. Asmodians use Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly, Altgard. Both trade the same event currency.

The Special Halloween Chest contains the Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals. Saving 250 coins for that one-time reward is a different choice from buying weekly supplies; review what your character can use before exchanging. Other merchant stock and consumable effects remain in the official table.
Candy Keys use fragments, not coins
Expedition and Transcendence rewards can include Candy Key Fragments. Under the event Substance Morph recipes, 60 fragments make one Red, Yellow or Blue Candy Key at a published 100% success chance. Each color’s recipe is limited to once per week per server. An alternative recipe exchanges one fragment for ten Superior Power Shards.
The color changes the main contents: Red includes Growth Pet Chests, Yellow includes 10,000 Abyss Points, and Blue includes four Odyle Energy. Each also includes the listed consumables. Use the matching key to open the event candies placed throughout the towns. Candy Keys are a separate event item; they must not be confused with Hidden Cube keys.
Use the right deadline
The event ends at maintenance. The announcement says event mission rewards are removed after the event; do not treat unspent coins as currency you can save until December. Candy, Cookies, Candy Key Fragments and the colored keys have a separate deletion timestamp: November 3 at 23:00 PST / November 4 at 08:00 CET. Several utility rewards, including the Special Halloween Chest, use December 15 at 23:00 PST / December 16 at 08:00 CET. A reward remaining in inventory longer does not extend the event missions or merchant window.
